Useless meanderings of a unsuspecting mother, who's goal is to raise fairly normal triplets, get back to basics, while having a fairly normal life, and just to survive the day. A small town chicky who was transplanted into an even smaller fishing town....proving time and time again she doesn't have to eat lobster to cook it right and good parenting does not have anything to do with others perceptions.

Caution: Below posts may contain strong language, unusual snark, adult content, poor spelling/grammar...be thankful I leave out the nudity...seriously!

I used to haunt bars...now it's blogs...

Anytime I am searching for anything I turn to the internet. When I say anything I mean recipes, craft ideas, free patterns, laughter, schooling ideas etc...

Sometimes on FB I post things I have done with/for the kids and someone will comment on where I ever got that idea. Believe me I am not originally crafty or talented enough to have all things to 'come to me'. So have a peek into some of my favorite links or blogs.

First off my all time favorite blog, my go to happy place is The Pioneer Woman. She has six talented sections. Filled with info, laughs and giveaways.
Confessions: day to day stories of her life on a ranch, her family and adventures.
Cooking: amazing recipes with photo step by step instructions. She has never steered me wrong here (steer haha *snort* haha move along)...special finger pointed at her cinnamon rolls, if you tried the ones I make-she's the genius behind it.
Photography: she takes awesome pics, has contests, tutorials and tips.
Home & Garden: everything from her favorite things, hotel tours and gardening.
Home Schooling: fun quizzes, schooling ideas, and lots of handy info
and last but not least her Tasty Kitchen section....THIS is amazing, it is a community area where people post their recipes for anything and everything...remember me bragging about finding the perfect Chai Tea Concentrate? There it is!
She is hilarious and has a cookbook (which I have) and a love story published about her and her cowboy hubby (which I am reading now) and they are as great as her blog.

Want to cry? Or just read a beautifully written blog about family life and love? Enjoying the Small Things is the place to go. I found her after someone posted a link to her second daughter's birth story. I cried and cried and when I stopped crying I stayed to read about the rest of her beautiful family, to see her wonderful pics and enjoy one of very few blogs that is never negative, and drama free (saying that goes along with PW's blog above)

My 3rd blog I read daily (or whenever she posts) is Brittany Gibbons- The barefoot Foodie...this chick cracks me up. My sense of humor only X100 because she is that much funnier then I. If you need a good laugh, to read some witty snark or just know someone else talks/thinks just like you do...she's the one.

Another most frequented site is One Pretty Thing. This site is daily updated lists of peoples blogs and sites for anything handmade. Looking for something specific for a holiday? Or a certain task like knitting or crocheting? Click on the Category tab and everything is listed under a subject. I have spent hours and hours on here...now if only I could get my butt in gear...

Those four are my main faves. When I have more time I have a whole list I turn to but these few are like coffee to me...I need them every day.

Very worthy mentions?
Cluck Cluck Sew...sewing fun!
Mom's Minivan...ideas to keep kids amused in the ol' NagWag II
Saltwater Kids...crafty ideas. Her fort kids are GREAT!!

My newest finds:
Mermaids of the Lake Blog...a super place to make the hours pass! Vintage treats ahhhhh!
and finally?

Hairstyles for Girls...I will be here many times for the next 18 years I think ;) She has every type of braid shown here in tutorials and videos. Some you have forgotten, some I've never heard of. From cornrows to fishbones.

I have so many more I frequent depending on my mood or want...felt food or quiet books? I have over 20 bookmarked if need be...but then again I would have to stop blogging and get to it! :D Want more or something specific chances are I've been there...and I'll be happy to link you up.
